SYNOPSIS

World Ender meets Ender of Worlds...
A thousand years ago, Dianna gave up her life in the deserts of Erioa to save her dying sister. She called upon anyone who would listen, not expecting a monster far worse than any nightmare to answer. Now she does what Kaden asks, even if that means securing an ancient relic from the very creatures that hunt her.

A King thought long dead and long forgotten.
In the old world his name was Samkiel. In the new world it is Liam, but one title remains true throughout time. He is the World Ender, a myth to his enemies, a savior and King to those loyal to him. After the Gods War, he locked himself away, hiding from the world. He denied his crown and responsibilities, leaving the very ones who needed him most to deal with the fallout of the death of their homeworld. Now an attack on those he holds dear sends him back to the one realm he never wished to visit again and into the sights of an enemy he thought imprisoned eons ago.
Now enemies older than time must put aside their differences and work together in hopes of saving both their world and every realm in between.

MY REVIEW

I want to thank the author Amber Nicole and Rose & Star PR for providing me with an e-ARC copy of the book in exchange for an honest review

After the way the first book ended, I was so excited for The Throne of Broken Gods, and it did not disappoint!!

Unhinged Dianna was just amazing, and I think I fell more in love with her while she was unhinged. The way she killed without remorse for her revenge was so true of her>>>>>>

Her character development was so good in this book seeing the events of the first book, and I was here for it!

Samkiel, what is there to say about him except he can end my world anytime. The one thing I love most about him is how he never gave up on Dianna 😭😭 no matter how hard it got, he stayed by her side. She did everything to make him run, but he didn’t (me when?)

Samkiel and Dianna’s romance was just immaculate. The raw passion and pain and anguish they went through (OH LORD), and then we got those little fluffy scenes between them, and it was just so good 🥺

One of the things that I love about this book is the side character. The amount of focus given to side characters and their development was amazing. This is a multi-POV book so we got to see the world from their eyes as well. Logan, Cameron, Xav and even Kaden had a POV.

I’m so interested in Cameron and Xav’s story, especially with the ending, because god they deserve better 😭 (that one scene we got of them with so much anguish and pain>>>>)

On a controversial (?) note, I should hate Kaden, and it’s not like I like him. But something about him makes me feel there could possibly be a redemption arc? But at the same time, I want Dianna to kill him, so I don't know. I’m so confused with his character😭 his style, backstory, and everything makes me question his villainous persona, but at the same time, it makes me realize villain characters are not always good and bad? They can be multidimensional, too, unlike those shown in many books😭

This book ends in a partial cliffhanger(?) I don’t think it’s a big cliffhanger like last time but that is my opinion. I still can’t wait for the next one!
