MY REVIEW

Firstly I want to thank Valentine PR and Author RuNyx for Providing me with an E-ARC of The Annihilator. All opinions expressed here are my own.

The Annihilator where do I begin with this book. Totally Amazing. Mind Spinning. Heart Throbbing. Gut Twisting. Those are some of the words that come to my mind when I think of this book. The day this book dropped on my kindle was literally the best day ever. 

RuNyx should have led with the fact that the MMC has a piercing in certain areas. Yeah, Iโ€™ve been stuck on that fact for a day now.  It would've been a great marketing technique trust me. He might be my favourite Dark Verse man right next to Tristan because he is so psychotic I love it. I want to love him more than Tristan but that's not possible so he's like 0.01 behind Tristan and Dante is like 0.01 behind our MMC. I'm not going to say the name of the MMC because when he first said it in the book I literally felt goosebumps (Now that might've been because of the AC but I believe it was because of the MMC.) 

Our FMC, I love her so much, she went through so much and I just wanted to hug her throughout the book. Though MMC did that for me. He is a big softie for Lyla. He might be a murderer/assassin but me calling him a softie ;D 

It's RuNyx (on a completely unrelated note she's a really sweet person) and It's Dark verse so obviously the plot-twisted are so damn amazing. When some of the dots as to what is happening finally connect they are literally the best moments. There are also some moments in the book where thereโ€™s a chance you will go OH MY GOD because that was my reaction for half of the book. The spice was literally ๐ŸŒถ๐ŸŒถ๐ŸŒถ๐ŸŒถ๐ŸŒถ / 5 . Y'all are absolutely going to love and devour this book

Again, in the end, I am just going to mention that this book has huge triggers and content warnings which I advise you all to read and research properly before starting because they are huge. Like Iโ€™m not going to lie the main reason I loved this book so much was because of some of the triggers (yeah thatโ€™s probably not good for my mental health but eh).

Mid Year Book Freakout Tag | 2020

So we have officially hit the mid-year of 2020, which means a Mid-Year Book Freakout Tag!! Q1 What's the best book you read so far in 2020? So the best book I've read so far this year is Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare, the first book in The last hour trilogy. I had been waiting for this book to come out since November 2019, and well, it didn't let me down even if it broke my heart.  The main story of this book is about James and Lucie Herondale ( children of Will Herondale ๐Ÿ˜Š), but it's written from the perspective of Cordelia Carstairs, who comes to the London institute. There has been less and less demonic activity around London, which is suspicious, but that only happens due to the entry of an unexpected villain. This problem is solved by our favorite groups of Herondales, Carstairs, Fairchild, and lightwoods. James and Cordelia have to fight them off along with Lucie and the Merry Thieves(the group of James along with his friends Matthew, Thomas, and Christopher)....

As you all might know, it's June which mean it's Pride month! ๐Ÿณโ€๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ Pride Month is the month where we celebrate the lives of those people part of the LGBTQ+ community. I read a few new LGBTQ+ books this month, and I've read many from before as well. I read one of the books I am going to mention like 2-3 days ago only, and yes, I liked that book that much for it to make it onto my favourites instantly).  I thought if I can make my bullet journal pride-themed I can also do a blog post on my favourite LGBTQ+ Books! Now this list would not specifically contain only LGBTQ+ romance. 1. Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Rick Riordan   This book was my first ever book into the fantasy and teen fiction books. This book is filled with adventures of Demigods and centaurs and cyclopes and also with our sassy and funny protagonist Percy Jackson. This series takes you through the journey of Percy and his friends from stealing Zeus's lightning to holding the sky and going through the labyrinth. If you have already read this, you can read the excellent spin-off series The Heroes of Olympus, which has even more funny and sassy characters. The book is recommended for children above 12 and is like one of the best series that made me laugh and sometimes cry ( if you read the other spin-off, that's The Apollo Trials, no spoilers). But this is one of the best novel series I have ever read. 2. Chain of Gold Book Review ( Spoiler Alert!!)

  I know I'm pretty late to do this since the book came out in March, and as of now, it's August, but I am still gonna do it.  The Chain of Gold is the first book in The Last Hours series and is set in Edwardian London and is the next generation story of The Infernal Devices series, which is set in Victorian London.  The book is mostly written from the point of Cordelia Carstairs, who is the female main character. Other main characters include James and Lucie Herondale, Thomas and Christopher Lightwood, Matthew Fairchild, Jesse, Grace Blackthorn, and Alastair Carstairs.  We were first introduced to this era in Tales from Shadowhunter Academy, where Tessa tells us about James and how he can slip in as shadows due to his demonic origins from his mother's side ( Tessa is his mother).
