Summer Romance Beach Reads

Image
It's summer, and who wouldn't love a good summer romance beach read? Well, I am here with a list of books I have read this summer and would want to read.  Summer beach reads are different for everyone, but for me, summer beach reads are happy-ending romantic novels set in summer.  Summer books also contain happy, upbeat readers that match my summer Spotify playlist.   I would not like to be bawling my eyes in the summer, so I prefer happy-endings, but there are millions of other genres you consider as Summer beach reads, and I would love to hear them in the comments. This post is also proof of the amount of love I have for the Enemies to Lovers trope. THE SPANISH LOVE DECEPTION, ELENA  ARMAS I finished this book just this Wednesday, and I literally forgot to sleep while reading this. I started this around 3 am, and the next thing I know, I see the sun. It is rising, and it's 8 am. This book was just so beautiful. If you have read and loved I sold... on Wattpad, then this bo

Book Universes that feel like home

Image
I’ve read so many books, and some of the books have become my home. Reading those books makes me feel like I’m returning back home. I have re-read these books so many times that I can recite paragraphs of the book word-to-word. Here are some book universes that have become a home for me, and I would do anything to get an opportunity to visit these universes.  The word Hiraeth perfectly describes my feeling when I talk about Velaris or Hogwarts. 1. Grishaverse (Leigh Bardugo)  " When everyone knows you are a monster, you needn't spend time doing every monstrous thing." If I could be a part of the Grishaverse in any form, I would die. I will sell my soul to be part of the Crows especially. I did not like the Shadow and Bone series too much, but Six of Crows and King of Scars duology have me by my heart. I absolutely loved it! I love criminal books, and I love heists, even more, making me love the Six of Crows even more. I've read around 3-4 books about a heist, and I ho

Best Reads | 2020

The longest ever year of our lives still has a few more days till it ends. We all did stay inside for most of the time, and more time means more books. I've read new books and re-read the old ones. This year half of the books I've read were on Wattpad, and I'm not counting Wattpad books.  I am going for my top 5 books this year because if I go more than that, I'll feel bad for leaving some out, and I'll just consider them too, and well, then I'll just include every book I liked from this year. But  from re-reading the entire Shadowhunter series to discovering my new love for the Folk of The Air series, here are my top reads of the year! 1. Six of Crows,  Leigh Bardugo This book was in my December TBR, and I finished it last week only, and I absolutely loved it! I love criminal books, and I love heists even more. I've read around 3-4 books about a heist, and I honestly cannot get enough of this book. There were a few things I didn't particularly like ab

My December To Be Read

Image
December is already here, and before we know, it'll be 2021. So I am gonna count my 2020 December TBR. I'll probably read more than these, but these are the ones I must-read.  How The High King of Elfhame learned to hate stories, Holly Black It's been around 2 weeks since its release, and I haven't read it yet. I don't know how I waited this long, but I don't want to read it in Ebook version because the illustrations in this book are so beautiful, but I don't have the rest of The Folk of the Air series as books, and if I buy only this book, it'll look weird to me. I started reading the Ebook version of this, and I had to stop because there is Cardan's picture at the start and the map of Elfhame. There are also illustrations before every chapter, and I want to own them. Also, the name of the first chapter is The High King of Elfhame Visits The Mortal World, and well, every fan of the series knows how much we are excited to read that.  The name of the

My Top Fantasy books

Image
Fantasy books are books set in a different universe with different creatures, and honestly, fantasy is my favourite genre after YA. Fantasy books are so fun to read, and it feels so good to get lost in a universe where you don't have to deal with humane problems. Here are my top Fantasy books: The Folk of the Air, Holly Black “I have lied, and I have betrayed, and I have triumphed. If only there was  someone to congratulate me.”  - Jude Duarte, The Cruel Prince The Cruel Prince is one of my absolute favourites. Jude Duarte is one of the best female leads I've ever read about. She is a strong female lead, and she doesn't make really cringy bad decisions. I always like to read a book with strong female leads, but in most books, they just make the female smart not strong. So I personally liked it when I read about Jude.  My words fall short of describing Cardan Greenbriar. I am still shocked he's the High King of Elfhame. Well, it was because of Jude that he became the Kin

Best Scientific novel of all time

If you think I only read Shadowhunters alongside some other books from YA genre, I am proving you wrong. I read science books too!!  Well, here are my top 5 science book that I read and totally loved! 1. The Theory of Everything - Stephen Hawkins     Based on a series of lectures given at Cambridge University, Professor Hawking's work introduced "the history of ideas about the universe" as well as today's most important scientific theories about time, space, and the cosmos in a clear, easy-to-understand way. "The Theory of Everything" presents the most complex theories, both past and present, of physics; yet it remains clear and accessible. It will enlighten readers and expose them to the rich history of scientific thought and the complexities of the universe in which we live. 2. The Time Machine - HG Wells        So begins the Time Traveller’s astonishing firsthand account of his journey 800,000 years beyond his own era—and the story that launched H.G. Well
