SYNOPSIS


Quarterback Holden Moore can have any girl he wants.

MY REVIEW

I really want to thank Valentine PR for providing me the arc of this book for an honest review.

OH MY GOD, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BOOK. This book was here to serve, and it served. Oh man did it serve. There are a few scenes in this book that have me swooning and going weak in my knees just because!!

Holden is the star quarterback while Julep is the coach's daughter who is strictly off-limits. But Julep moves across his house, and the SPARKS AND CHEMISTRY WERE SO ALIVE. I literally died reading some of the spicy scenes because oh my god. Though I wished that the backstories of both the characters could've been delved into more, but I love the stuff we got! We also get teased for a new couple which I love so much because Istg they are going to serve. Also, the Riley-Zeke and Clay-Giana crumbs that we were served were just amazing.

I don't want to spoil anything because this book is amazing and I really recommend it.

  I know I'm pretty late to do this since the book came out in March, and as of now, it's August, but I am still gonna do it.  The Chain of Gold is the first book in The Last Hours series and is set in Edwardian London and is the next generation story of The Infernal Devices series, which is set in Victorian London.  The book is mostly written from the point of Cordelia Carstairs, who is the female main character.
