MY REVIEW
Firstly I want to thank the author Ana Huang and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for providing me with an e-ARC for Twisted Hate in exchange for an honest review.
Josh Chen just made himself a place on my top boyfriends, right along with Aaron Blackford and Adam Carlsen. The possessiveness, protectiveness and jealousy are my kryptonite, especially if he's a big grump and oh, did Ana Huang hit me right in the heart with this book.
Let's get to some book details before this whole review just becomes me fangirling and worshipping Josh and Jules. Twisted Hate is the third book in the Twisted series. From the first book in the series, we've been getting Josh and Jules build-up, and now in Twisted Hate, we get to read their story.
Jules is one of the strongest female characters I have read about. We get a lot of information about Jules' past and how it affects her even in the present. Despite her past, she handles herself with so much confidence even when she's shaken up or scared. On the other hand, with Josh, we know his past and his demons from the first book, and in Twisted Hate, he's battling and moving past those demons, which for no reason should have made me proud, but it did.
My beautiful characters aside (Yes, I had laid a claim on Josh and Jules before my best friend could), The plot of this book was just bloody amazing. A month ago, I didn't even know I was receiving this ARC, and I was describing a book I want to my best friend, and I kid you not, this book matched perfectly with everything I told her. I literally manifested this book in my life. This review is spoiler-free, so I'm not going to get into detail, but let me just tell you the enemies-with-benefits and the caring side of both of them (Some scenes where Josh takes care of Jules made me want to scream, but it was 3 am and I couldn't) seeing it together blew my mind.
I feel like I can rant about this book forever, but I won't, so I'm stopping after this. We get some plot (or a mystery more like) for Twisted Lies (The 4th Book about Stella) in this book. It's not a cliffhanger or anything, but a curious kitten like me wants Twisted Lies as soon as I can. If Ana Huang ever reads this, then please, I'll offer you anything; give me Twisted Lies early.
This book isn't even out yet, and I've already convinced 4 people of reading it. The purpose of this post was for me to worship Jules and Josh and convince you guys to read this book.
