Best Dystopian Novels

5. DIVERGENT, VERONICA ROTH

This book is set in a world where people are divided based on their nature. If you are nice Abnegation, if you are strong Dauntless, if you are intelligent, then Erudite, if you never lie, then Candor. IF you had neither of those, you are in trouble. If you are in trouble more than on then too, you are in the situation. This book is filled with action and adventure. This book can leave you shocked by the end.

4. READY PLAYER ONE

This book follows a future world where people live in video games and virtual reality and have entirely destroyed the place in which they actually live. The story follows a group of friends who beat the game and win a prize, and, in the process, fight bad guys. I really loved this one because it isn't like most dystopian cliche novels where the world is dictated by a form of organization.

3. THE MAZE RUNNER, JAMES DASHNER

This book series is also converted into a film series, starring Dylan O'Brien. This book follows the journey of Thomas and his friends, as they are trapped in an area that is surrounded by high walls and mazes. They are immune to the disease in the outside world and fight against the governmental structure and its practices. This series has 3 main books and 2 prequels. This dystopian series is a must-read for hunger games and divergent fans. This book makes me wanna cry, and it gives me chills every time I read it.

 2. THE HUNGER GAMES, SUZANNE COLLINS

Teens, if you love Liam Hemsworth, you probably have already watched the movies, but you know books are better than films. This series dealt with the gruesome and inhumane game in which people who don't live in the Capitol have to play in which you have to kill each other to survive. I don't think I can tell u more about it without giving a spoiler, but I'm gonna be doing a book review on it so you can check that out. But this book is filled with love trio and action and even better ships.

 1. THE GIVER, LOIS LOWERY

This book by Lois Lowry is set in a world where you can't see color or be feel things like happiness and sadness. In this world, there might not be sadness, but they have pleasure. This book was one of the best novels I've read set in a universe where people are forced to see black and white. The story revolves around Jonas, a young boy who is given the job of the giver. I can"t tell you much, but I'm gonna do a review on this book.
