Best Books I read in 2021

Image
It's crazy to think that this is officially my last blog post of 2021. I will see you soon in 2022 now! Wrapping up the year 2021, I have read 166 published books this year and a bunch of other Wattpad books. Originally at the start of 2021, I had kept my reading goal for 80 books, but I realized I had hit that goal too soon in August and bumped it up to 100. In September, I went on a total reading spree and finished 33 books which, I am not going to lie, shocked me as well.  I calmed down in October a bit because I had my Term I exams, but I went on a mini-reading spree again with my best friend in November. To get to my main point, I had to edit my Goodreads Reading Challenge a few times. The final Reading Challenge was 150 books, and I am proud to say I moved even beyond that challenge. So in this post, I will be listing my favourite reads of 2021. It's definitely hard to choose a few favourites from 160+ books I have read this year. I consider myself not a very harsh critiq...

The Hating Game Trailer - Good or Bad?

Image
The Hating Game is a book I loved so much when I read it. The book was enemies to lovers, Grumpy x  Sunshine, forced proximity, how can I not like it. Josh and Lucy's chemistry was just so explosive and I absolutely wanted to read more of it and I was so excited for the movie but once again people prove that book to movie adaptations are not it.  The Hating Game trailer dropped a while ago and I needed a lot of time to process that trailer. I've embedded the video here but I am also going to link the trailer at the end so you can also check it out.    If we talk about casting Lucy Hale as Lucy was excellent casting, Austin Stowell as Josh might not have been the best choice. I don't want to badly criticize Austin, but most of the fandom expected a different Josh. They also kind of butchered josh's entire personality, and I was cringing so hard through the trailer at that. In the book, Josh is so grumpy, and one of Lucy's main aims is to get Josh to smile. The whole ...
