7 murder mysteries to keep you up all night

Image
Murder mysteries are one of my favorite genres. Who doesn't like the suspense and the thrill you get while reading it? Plus, there can't be a happy or a sad ending in a murder mystery! Even if the murderer is not caught in the end, the murderer is still identified. There is this thing about murder mysteries that you don't want to stop once you start them until you get the name of the murderer, even if it's a poorly written novel. So, here is a list of my top 7 murder mysteries book that I love reading so much that I have read some of them 2 times (even if I knew the murderer). If you think this list will be filled with Agatha Christie, then you are not wrong because she is one of my favorite authors, but it still has other authors like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Tana French.    7.  The Mysterious Affairs at Styles, Agatha Christie This book is set during World War I in England at Styles Court, an Essex country manor. After the death of her Husband's death, Emi

Must Read Classics

Little Women, Louisa May Alcott T his classic was published by Louisa May Alcott in 2 volumes, one in 1968 and the other in 1969. This story deals with the story of 4 girls Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy March. They live with their mother in Massachusetts  in poverty while their father is away for the war. It is a story written about the adventure, mistakes, and experiments of the four girls. I enjoyed reading this because of the fun the girls have and how they discover various aspects of life. Like me, Jo is a little tomboyish and enjoys to write, Meg was the eldest and is beautiful, Amy is still in school, but I find her a little bit dramatic, and Beth is the timid piano player. The March sisters had a neighbor Laurie which made the entire reading more fun with his black eyes and curly black hair. He was adopted by his grandfather and was being tutored by John Brooks to enter Harvard. You will definitely have bipolar moods reading this one. The recent movie adaptation of this classic

Best Dystopian Novels

5. DIVERGENT, VERONICA ROTH This book is set in a world where people are divided based on their nature. If you are nice Abnegation, if you are strong Dauntless, if you are intelligent, then Erudite, if you never lie, then Candor. IF you had neither of those, you are in trouble. If you are in trouble more than on then too, you are in the situation. This book is filled with action and adventure. This book can leave you shocked by the end.  4. READY PLAYER ONE  This book follows a future world where people live in video games and virtual reality and have entirely destroyed the place in which they actually live. The story follows a group of friends who beat the game and win a prize, and, in the process, fight bad guys. I really loved this one because it isn't like most dystopian cliche novels where the world is dictated by a form of organization. 3. THE MAZE RUNNER, JAMES DASHNER This book series is also converted into a film series, starring Dylan O'Brien. This book follows the jo

 10. The Hate U Give, Angie Thomas T his book got me rendered speechless after reading it. This book deal with the main character Starr who lives in a poor neighborhood but goes to a vibrant school. Her life becomes chaotic when one night, her childhood best friend is shot by a police officer. As with most of the great books these days, this book is converted into a movie. 9. Fangirl, Rainbow Rowell This novel depicts the coming of age and how Cath deals with her social anxiety. What mainly attracted me to this book was the title because can it be more relatable?? Reading the summary behind invited me even more. This book revolves around Cath, a fangirl who finds solace in writing fanfictions. If you haven't read this book yet, I definitely recommend this because it deals with family to first love. 8. Paper Towns, John Green This John Green book deals with two friends Quentin and Margo, who were childhood friends and neighbors. They eventually grew apart until one day, Margo ends u

5 Must-Reads for Teens

1. Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Rick Riordan   This book was my first ever book into the fantasy and teen fiction books. This book is filled with adventures of Demigods and centaurs and cyclopes and also with our sassy and funny protagonist Percy Jackson. This series takes you through the journey of Percy and his friends from stealing Zeus's lightning to holding the sky and going through the labyrinth. If you have already read this, you can read the excellent spin-off series The Heroes of Olympus, which has even more funny and sassy characters. The book is recommended for children above 12 and is like one of the best series that made me laugh and sometimes cry ( if you read the other spin-off, that's The Apollo Trials, no spoilers). But this is one of the best novel series I have ever read. 2. The Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins Teens, if you love Liam Hemsworth, you probably have already watched the movies, but you know books are better than films. So this book series is rig
